Wonderful location for the property but I cannot say much else. We had issues with the first room which I prefer not to mention, which we then got moved to another room that was better, but the issues with the first room left something to be desired. Excellent location & best of services one could look forward to. Great onsite restaurants & lot of eateries around the corner on Bay avenue. Bay avenue is also great for waking/running. Overall centrally located & close to dubai metro. Taxis always available at the property. Taj also arranges for airport pickup & drop off, at a cost.

The service was friendly and attentive from check in to check out. We enjoyed the breakfast each day which was a cornucopia of options in a bright atmosphere. Great lounge furniture options at the pool with covered cabanas and chairs. We used the shuttle daily to visit the mall and Burj Khalifa. It was an excellent experience!

Staff are friendly and helpful especially the concierge. The hotel overall is clean. Our room was large as we got an upgrade. We were also offered late check out and the option to shower and change before our late flight in the hotel spa. Which was very accommodating. Molten Brown moisturizer and shower gel was nice in the bathroom, In general the hotel needs a spruce up. Walls need painting throughout and curtains need replacing or at least steaming. Bathrobes were rather shabby. There were stains on the carpet in our room. The flooring in the entry way to our room needs attention. The bathtub needed a good clean. We only used the shower. I was expecting a 5 star hotel but there are quite a few areas that need attention in order for this star rating to be applicable.
