"Nice to have Pool facility, comfortable bed, clean & practical kitchen, good size dinning table. Water view from cross the road and 5 minutes walk down to beach. Only one thing I wasn't expected was gate noise. My room was just above parking gate and frequently made open/close noise when I was in bedroom. Otherwise I enjoyed our stay as easy to drive around city center, beach area and back to homely acomodation."

"Very central property. Walking distance to shops, dining and beaches. Transport was right at your doorstep if you didn’t have your own. Rooms were large, clean, very tidy, had everything you needed. Complex was wonderful, several pools, games room for the children, sauna, spa pool.. all in all a wonderful stay. "

The phone key is a new idea which means I was a bit worried about my battery being charged enough to get back in after hours, and my stay history had been erased but all in all a relaxing and pleasant stay."

"Our first one night stay at Anchor Geelong. Excellent communication from off site manager prior to arrival. Entry is at front of property rather than from the free on-site carpark. Very bright modern, spacious and comfortable room and King bed with quality amenities throughout. Kitchenette included portable electric hotplate, dishwasher and full size fridge. lounge couch and large screen tv. Managed the electronic door lock with PIN number. No wardrobe as such but plenty of hooks around the room...

"The place is functional, spacious, and clean. The staff at reception were all very nice and helpful. Sadly, the lack of blackout curtains and AC unit being only in the living room (not bedroom, although you can leave the door open I guess) were key negatives for me. All the extras are charged - be it pool towels or even a half an hour checkout extension - all of that takes away from a pure relaxing experience. Also felt it was expensive for what it was"

"What an amazing property !! A photographers subject on every staircase and courtyard. Fill of rich history, and thats before you are delighted by the rooms/apartment. Everything you need, amazing kitchen, comfortable beds, lovely shower, really clean and quiet. With Chinatown right there and trams abound, it is a fabulous location. I highly recommend this property and will be back. "
