"We had been to Papallacta a few years ago, but just for the day to the big pools. I loved staying in the cabana with our family because steps away from your door, you had private thermal pools and they were awesome. My husband and nephew went on a walk on the trail by the hotel and their pictures were beautiful. The restaurant also had good food. The staff was great. The whole experience was a little slice of paradise!"

"Everything at the lodge was good but could have been great with improved communication. Our family of four arrived at the same time as a group and we were offered the options to joint their tours on an expedited schedule (four days of activities in two days). We joined them for the full day Napo tour and really enjoyed the day but we were very rushed and had no idea what activity was next. "We ended up staying here for a total of almost 2 weeks. We would stay here and then check out to go do treks in the jungle, but then always return to this hotel. The property is beautiful, kept in perfect condition. Everything is very clean, there is always hot water. They have a free baggage storage service, that's nice.
