"My preference is a shower vs a bath tub. Getting out of the tub is tricky when it is wet because you have to step over the walls of tub. The breakfast was very good. The area around the hotel was nice and quiet. Only 5 to 10 minutes to train station. "

"This is not easy to find - tucked away in the hamlet above Canfin. (Drive past Candin for 1km and there’s a sign on the left). The hotel has beautiful outdoor seating under a thatch and lovely walks around. But what makes it so special is the quality of the cooking - they do an evening meal for guests, with full use of local products, especially the chestnuts and figs. We had spiced figs in our main dish of perfectly long-cooked beef, and home-made marrons glacé on our delicious lemon...
