"What a find! Rock House is a little gem on Harbour Island. Don, the owner/manager is truly "hands-on," and it shows. The staff considers itself a 'family,' and they take great pride in this lovely property. We stayed in what was arguably, the worst room in the inn (The Monkey Room), but it was lovely, nonetheless. "The view is beautiful, having a porch on two levels is a really nice touch to the overall property. It would’ve been nice to have some patio furniture but otherwise it was comfortable. Things you should know: The property is set up as a two level rental however if you have guests staying above you, you hear every footstep, every voice, every sneeze. If you’re looking for a true privacy this place is wonderful if it is only occupied by you and your guest outside of that you lose all privacy. This...

"The a/c vents were dirty, received a dirty towel from the initial housekeeping, the room had an overbearing musty scent (possibly from the cloth couch &/ the bed skirt) and the shower was infested with sewer gnats (we keep a wet towel over the drain to keep them out). Extremely disappointed. "
