"We had a wonderful week at Merry Light Cove cottage. The spot was absolutely beautiful with a quiet sandy beach just a few steps away and an amazing view of Lake Huron sunsets. Lonely Island beach was a short 2 minute drive or a lovely 10 minute stroll. These beaches are perfect for kids as they are shallow and our kids loved walking out far from the shoreline. "This is a great place! If you’re looking for a cottage with view, it won’t disappoint. We enjoyed swimming, kayaking, and bonfires by the water. The host was easy going and open to suggestions. The place could use a couple of small upgrades, but we loved the layout and all of the stone on the walls/fireplace. We would definitely stay there again. "
