"Great quirky pub, restaurant and hotel. Ideal for us on our way to Norwich. Have stayed before, so was looking forward to going back. Delicious food, lovely, comfy beds in fun 'cow' themed rooms. This time i was accompanied with my daughter/we came up up to celebrate my friend's birthday and celebrate my daughters acceptance to University.
As before the rooms we had were clean and comfortable the staff were helpful/friendly and the whole evening was brilliant.
Truth be told we came up for the fantastic food served at the restaurant-we all had steak which was perfectly done and dessert-was definately worth the short ish journey up from Essex.
What better than having a nice meal then stopping over for the night and back in the morning ..this place is perfect for that.
There are plenty of rooms to cater for a large family or a solo traveller.
I said i would return last time here....and will again...Great value for money. A great short gettaway was had by us all.
