Great stay!

We had a fantastic stay. The home is well kept and has everything you need. The screened in porch is perfect for hanging out in - the mosquitos are out of control! We enjoyed the easy beach access. And the golf cart was so helpful in carting our 3 kids (ages 4, 2, and 1) around the grounds. We hope to come back!

This house is a dream for a vacation. They graciously provided anything and everything you could ever need while on vacation to the beach. The house was stocked to the gills. Easy walk to the beach. Golf cart ride to the pool. It all was wonderful. Kept the kids entertained for sure!

The best home!
I don’t even know where to start as this home has set the highest bar for rentals. I don’t think we can stay anywhere else now! The owner has gone over the top with what they offer to guests. The home has literally everything you need and things you didn’t think you needed! The decor is stunning, the quality of the items (kitchen, bath, bedding, etc) is luxury! We felt like we were staying at our friend’s place with just how nice and comfortable it was. The house is 50 yards from the beach walkover, so it’s incredibly easy to go back and forth to the beach if you need to. The beach itself feels so private and the whole neighborhood is so quiet and peaceful, not like the other party areas where you never know what you’re going to hear at night. Seriously this place is the best and I hope the owner never stops renting it because we will be back again and again, thank you!

wonderful beach rental
We shared this rental with another family -10 in all - and had such a wonderful time. close to the beach. well kept property. the mosquitoes were quite bad - but i think that’s because of the recent rain. definitely recommend repellant and even spray for the stairs and garage. the screened in porch is lovely and fun to watch the boats come into the port. would recommend highly for families looking forward a beach getaway.

Wonderful Beach Home
It was a great stay for New Year's for us. The house is clean and beautiful. The amenities are amazing. The kitchen was stocked with snacks and drinks. There were plenty of beach toys and towels in the garage. The only minor snafu was that I had to reach out to the property manager to get the code to enter the home. It was not sent to us. There was also confusion regarding the wifi password. It was still a great weekend and we would definitely stay here again.

Exceeded Expectations!
We loved this property! The photos online are quite accurate as to its beautiful design and decor. It was lovely inside and out. Still, it exceeded our expectations. A dream beach house and I loved pretending it was mine! Very nice to have everything on one floor. Cozy yet spacious and very well appointed. Just a very short walk across the street to the beach access. We really enjoyed the bayside view with breezes rustling through the grasses, birds, sunrise and sunset, barges drifting to and from the ship channel, and even a side view of the Gulf surf. The house next to this is set back so the view is encompassing and no structures are behind the house. Glorious solitude on this screened in porch! The management here is excellent and check-in, check-out is very easy and they are very responsive to help and answer any questions. The rental cost is totally worth it for these lovely homes in this unique community so close to the historical district and all the best that Galveston has to offer. We will be back and it would be hard to not rebook this particular property. First class!

Beautiful home in the middle of a mosquito breeding ground
This home was just exactly as advertised, and was perfect for our family reunion. Unfortunately, to get into the house, one must go up the outside stairs, and there were hundreds of swarming mosquitoes at all times. Between the trip up the stairs and the trips to the beach, we all wound up with a minimum of 30 bites per person, and that was after spraying ourselves down with "Off" for each trip. For that reason alone, we would not go back if the home was offered at 1/5 of the price. We made the mistake of paying the $150 for pool use before we realized that there was a mosquito problem, so we did not use the pool once. I did go inside the gate to see if there were mosquitoes there as well, and there were. The home is nice. There was a definite shortage of linens, so I would highly suggest you bring your own towels. There was only one bath mat to be found, but there was a washer and dryer, which was very convenient. Overall, although the home is lovely, we feel it is overpriced for the amenities, and being forced to stay indoors except when at the beach was a definite drawback. The beach also had mosquitoes, but it wasn't as bad as the neighborhood.

Great beachhouse for a family
Great, one story beachhouse, perfect for families, especially with no interior stairs to ‘police’ with children. Take the walkover to the private beach in just minutes. Lovely bay views from the screened in back porch. Spacious and comfortable. A very helpful and polite onsite staff.

Beautiful Property
This was a beautiful property with great access to the beach. It was spotless when we visited. The home was equipped with everything needed (kitchen utensils, bathroom linens, seating and more). The bunk room was adorable and the kids loved it! All the beds were very comfortable. This property had an excellent use of space. The only recommendation is to swap out the bunk room bulbs (located over each bed) to LED bulbs so they don’t get too hot. Being such close proximity to the headboards the littles accidentally touched the fixture and complained it was too hot. But that’s it. Everything was perfect and we would love to return P.S. the screened in upper deck is amazing. We all sat outside to wind down (littles included). We had cocktails while watching the sunset and the littles were able to play. Plenty of seating and the best part...no mosquitos!

Awesome house in great area of the beach!
Just got home from a 3 night stay here with my family of 4 and my brother’s family of 4. Plenty of space - house is super cute and plenty of space. One criticism, which was pretty major, was the infestation of mosquitos in the area. It wasn’t just at this particular house, but the entire walk to the beach (which is only about 5 minutes) we were swarmed by mosquitos. They were even on the beach, which was crazy. Other than that we were the only ones in our area of the beach and had no problem social distancing. Highly recommend renting beach chairs and umbrellas. So as long as the mosquito situation is under control I’d definitely rent here again.
