"There was a incredible outdoor pool and a heated indoor pool. There were pool towels available too and all you had to do was return them. The room was nice but it wasn't 4 star quality I don't think. Even decent hotels have microwaves available for families but there was not one so it was inconvenient. The front desk staff wasn't easy to communicate too. He just seemed like a robot set to say the same things over and over again instead of understanding what the customer is saying and assisting...

Communication with the owner was impeccable, making the booking and check-in process seamless. "We spent a relaxing winter month at Sol Vida. The house is very comfortable, and the fenced yard was enjoyed by our two dogs. The beach is a short walk and often we were the only ones on the beach. Galveston is a short drive, and there are wonderful restaurants to enjoy. If we plan another trip to the area, we will check on availability."
