"We loved the hotel . Great area . Although people bugging you to check before check out was extremely annoying . We are a family of five and they did this while we bathing , dressing and packing . A totoal turn off "

"Celebrated 35 year's of marriage wanted to stay at Galveston West Beach hotel stayed there in April for my birthday and was very pleased with my room, service, breakfast,pool and hot tub and my balcony overlooking the beach "

"Love the fact that it has free parking, a balcony, and walkable to McDonalds. Wish it had an outdoor pool but not a factor. Have stayed here many times and like the price."

"While relaxing with drinks in the first floor/lobby chairs we were bothered by numerous flies. Presumably they come in the revolving doors. Very annoying. "

"Staff was informative and helpful. Room was modern, clean and spacious. Breakfast area was small but they had plenty of options including waffles. Transportation to and from port was excellent "

"We really liked the property and ir is well maintained, but the 10th floor rooms are in desperate need of refresh. The 10th floor rooms do not reflect the ambiance of the rest of the resort. When you arrive at the resort you immediately get the impression of a luxurious hotel that carries from the entrance to the desk, to the pool area, the restaurants, and the lobby, but when the rooms on the 10th floor you immediately notice that the rooms no longer represent the luxury of the rest of the hotel. We still had a great time and found all of the hotel, pool, and dining associates to be professional, friendly, and helpful. We are looking to our next stay and yes we will be staying on the adults only 10th floor."
