"We really enjoyed our stay, even though it was rainy. Touring around the museum and the various train cars was super fun. The grandkids (ages 4, 6, 7, 9) were over the moon with this 'surprise' overnight stay before we headed to our cruise. The staff were terrific. The pullman car was awesome. We knew it wouldn't be a spotless, newly built hotel room, but this made it all the more exciting to be in a venue from days gone past."

"Beautiful spacious and inviting classic house! Our hostess was outstanding, very friendly and accommodating. The room we stayed in was “The Preacher” and it was outstanding. Very large, comfortable with an incredible bed and a 7 foot claw foot soaking tub. Breakfast was delicious! Belgian waffles with fresh fruit, juice and coffee. "

"The house was great! But you can tell it is a rental. It needs painted inside and a few things repaired and updated. It seemed like it needs some love. The window ledge in one of the primaries looked like someone sat on it and broke it. The garage was unlocked and a mess. There was a used bar of soap in the outdoor shower. Some of the flooring felt a little spongy and the tub downstairs. I’d stay there again. Loved the house itself "
