"We arrived late from after flying many hours from Buenos Aires. I cannot say we had a good or restful stay and our experience was VERY weird. But as far as I know it was not really Fairmont’s fault. That’s because we were awoken and removed from our room to the lobby in our PJs at 7am by an RCMP SWAT team raiding the room next to us. So not very relaxing. But after about 30m of us feeling in shock and kinda ignored, someone eventually brought us bathrobes and offered us breakfast. After a couple hours we were let back into our room. So not the greatest experience, but hey, Welcome to Vancouver! "

"The staff was excellent attentive to requests in a timely efficient manner The manager responded to an issue that happened before arriving with apologies consideration to resolve the issue The beds were very comfortable but were a bit on the small side for 2 people to a bed would have been better queen size Also, we loved the patio with fresh air available The only issue was the sliding door was very difficult to open but we never did ask for assistance to fix this! To recap, the 4 if us had a great time there celebrating my birthday Also, the restaurant food was great I received a bottle of wine chocolates for my birthday!!!"
