Please note photos of the driveway. It is typical for Gatlinburg and the area. It’s not super steep in that we can get in with our Rav4 hybrid, but it has a hump that can be slick so be careful if walking it.

Communicative and attentive hosts. Scenic location "up" in the mountains with an upper deck from which to enjoy coffee and watch the fog roll in. Our stay was as cozy as the down comforters that greeted our arrival.

Cleanliness left a little to be desired. Poop streaks in the toilet and hair all over the towels. Over all the place appeared to be in the middle of a remodel. Was told it was 5 bedrooms but only 4 were unlocked. And not at all accessibly friendly! Other than that is was great. A beautiful view, close access. Lots of things to do and see and most of all..... AFFORDABLE!!! Thanks for a great week!

We left after the first night.
Drive way requires four wheel drive to get up. Your SUV with all wheel drive wont cut it, neither will your sedan. Its also difficult to walk up, I was the only member of my group that did not fall when walking up the drive way, there were several bruises. Property manager went to bed without resolving our problems and did not pick up in the morning for Vrbo customer service. House is listed as sleeping 11, it sleeps 9 uncomfortably. The property is very rough, there were holes in the walls, most of the rooms are poorly finished or in my opinion unfinished. There was limited hotwater. Property smelled of cigarette smoke throughout, we found the used cigarette butts outside, the property manager was kind enough to put in glad plugins prior to us arriving to mask the smell some. Several doors in the property are screwed shut. Floor was dirty, I walked around the house for 5 minutes with my shoes and socks off, my feet were black afterwards. The property is not safe for children, the smoke detectors were removed and the back stair case is a safety hazard for small children as my daughter found out. 10 out of 10 would NOT recommend. Vrbo cannot give you your money back. I spent over $2,200 on this property to spend one night to then have to drive an hour to spend another $2,300 to stay in a hotel. Vrbo customer service was unable to help. The only positive thing I have to say about this experience was using the code to enter the property. I am out of room to continue.

Worst booking ever
Almost all pics were outdated and driveway was so steep we couldnt get vehicle up in it tried canceling that night owners refuse to answer still to this date have not responded. Very disrespectful with they way they wont address the situation that occured
