"Lone pine is a nice place to stay for a quiet vacation, some extra pool chairs wouldn’t go astray… the room had a very mouldy smell due to humidity and constant air conditioning and they tried to help with a different room but they were all the same - they could try cleaning the air con filters… breaky was good, staff were nice but limited English… they had lots of meetings and a wedding while we were there which was a slight inconvenience but, when you pay for a boutique hotel you expect a bit...

"We had a fantastic stay at this beautiful and cozy hotel. The staff is phenomenal and each person made us feel welcomed. The breakfast was delicious giving us the energy we needed for long days of touring the city. A special treat was coming back and having a dessert left in the fridge for us to enjoy before settling in for the night. And we got so many wonderful recommendations for sightseeing and restaurants to check out. This place is truly a gem and I’d be thrilled to have a second stay on...

"Excellent welcome from the staff, shout out to Yun Li for going above and beyond to make us feel welcome and knowledgeable about traversing through Penang. She had a lot of great advice and was able to get us restaurant reservations on short notice. The service at Noordin Mews was superb. The doors are quirky though, watch your fingers opening and closing them! There's a public shower and washroom which we were told we could use after we checked out and before we flew out. "Wonderful hotel beautiful room and housekeeping excellent. We were upgraded to a room that allowed drinks and canapés in the Cornwallis lounge. Fantastic location walking distance to the street art and Chew Jetty. Buffet in the evening is excellent value and the breakfast amazing. Staff also wonderful cannot fault this!"

"Charming boutique hotel with lush greenery offering plenty of little cozy areas to relax. A little oasis in the middle of the historic town. Staff members on site, Nick, Janet, Kee and Shipun were wonderful. Breakfast was included but options were limited but the hotel is minutes away from awesome local delights. Be sure to sample the infamous Penang Char Kway Teow (flavourful fried flat noodles) and the delicious white coffee (and more)! Great location! "
