"Thank you for making my first visit to Cairns safe and comfortable. Sam and Irene were very gracious hosts, assisting with early check-in and early check-out, directions and recommendations. Quaint, old school charm. The location is ideal and walking distance to everything, from the esplanade and CBD, to the marina and Central Station. Tour pick ups were conveniently located at the hotel or the Novotel 2 blocks away. I never felt unsafe walking to/from rhe hotel, no matter the hour. The room was...

"We stayed in a cabin which was very comfortable. The complex seems to be mainly geared to kids as there's plenty to keep them entertained. The pools were great although there could have been a few more chairs. Happy hour every afternoon, good choice of food. We will stay there again, next time we go to Cairns."

"Old apartment complex - we got put in Beaumont. But it served its purpose and was easy to walk to the marina, groceries and the Esplanade. a few strange things like the side lamps had no light bulbs in them, and the kettle leaked, and no basic cooking items like salt and pepper or oil, and no bathroom shampoo and conditioner, so the Woolworths over the road got a good workout."
