"The rooms look exactly as they do in the pictures! Sleek and modern with a bright, beachy feel. The quality of the furniture and linens is very nice. The kitchen was well appointed and they provided dishwasher and laundry detergent. The ladies at the front desk were also extremely helpful and kind. "The unit was a studio and nice size, very clean. We enjoyed using the grill for dinner too. The owners were helpful, friendly and helped with our transportation needs. John even drove us to the Reef Terminal one morning. It's a bit over a mile to the main part of the Esplanade and harbor. We did walk it several times. Otherwise it was about $9 US each way for a taxi."

"Clean enough - there was dust on top of fridge and under bed (it moved). Overall it was clean and good location. Didn’t appreciate we had to take the garbage out and put in the chute - wish it was known. Furniture was dated could use an upgrade. Better coffee instead of just powdered. Maybe a bottled waters when people arrive. And WiFi range was not great in bedroom. I would still recommend this - we were staying in some 5 star properties before getting here - hence my expectation was higher....

"Excellent 11 night stay having arrived in Cairns for relocation. Hotel is in a wonderful location right on the beach and within walking distance to small shops, bar and cafe. There is a lovely tropical pool onsite too along with a small restaurant/bar. Our room had everything you would require and was clean and tidy. The hosts communication was brilliant and we couldn’t recommend the hotel enough. "

"Wonderful place to retreat for a few days with beautiful walks on the property through tropical forest. If you like nature and seclusion this is the place for you. The rooms are well maintained, clean and comfortable with all the amenaties needed for self catering. There is however, no Wifi access in the room and telephone coverage is poor; so I would not recomend this for someone who needs to stay connected. Otherwise, no complaints and an enjoyable stay."
