"Beautiful historical building! Clean and comfortable. Staffs are nice and friendly. Located in safe area. Shopping area is right there. Pharmacy is in front of the building. A few good cafes are besides the hotel. Close to markets, metro station and tourist information booth in Catalunya park. The bus stop for airport shuttle bus ( available 24 hours) is nearby. Very convenient. Highly recommend to stay at this hotel."

"Perfect place for a family of 5! The “townhouse suite with two bedrooms and a sofa bed was the perfect amount of space for 5 people. The staff was friendly and it was a convenient walk to many places to see as it is close to the gothic quarter. The taxis right outside the hotel made transportation everywhere very easy! "Hotel Colon on one of the best, if not the best hotels in the Gothic Quarter. Everything is in close proximity and easy to get to from the hotel. There’s many dining options around the hotel and I would definitely recommend staying at HC to anyone. There is also a restaurant on site and the breakfast buffet has better food than some of the restaurants I tried outside of the hotel. The staff are amazing, very friendly and welcoming in all areas of the hotel from the moment you walk in. This my top pick to stay for recurring trips to Barcelona."
