"The map on expedia is incorrect. This hotel is not in downtown guatape. It's a 10 minute ride away. However, 1) the hotel will call you a cheap tuktuk 2) you would have to tuktuk to the piedra anyway 3) there are tons of tuktuks in the town to bring you back. Just make sure you have pesos! There are ATMs in town. Although I was initially sad I couldn't walk out and explore the town, in the end I was very glad to have the peace and quiet (and lake access).
