"I had a wonderful stay here, 4 nights in the summer was beautiful. If you are looking for somewhere peaceful, great location, stunning scenery, perfect weather definitely book here. Great restaurants close by, I would recommend a hire car for a day or two as there is so much to explore. Will definitely stay here again if I find myself back here. Would definitybe a lot of fun here through the winter too."

"The Phat house was a very comfortable stay. They have delicious food and the bed was extremely comfortable. The room is small, but comfortable. The heater worked amazingly. The staff are very friendly and helpful. Would recommend staying here."

"Toilets were not as expected. (No wash-lets). There was a problem while using both toilets at same time. (When flushing the upstairs toilet, it is difficult to sit on down stairs toilet. water will pop-up). Using kerosine heaters are not good for the closed rooms. There was no air ventilation system."

"The most memorable trip to Hakuba yet! Yoko and staff now have a customer for life. The atmosphere was warm and inviting and the property was situated in a perfect spot between the slopes and the night life. I have already recommended This spot to all of my American friends. I will return!!!!!!"
