"The property was very rural and private. It was spacious with tall ceilings and wide open rooms and all the essentials for preparing easy meals. It was very clean (9/10 and I’m SUPER picky). The bed was comfortable and the furnishings were new and clean. The couch was a bit uncomfortable for us but I realize that’s subjective. The hot tub was clean and had a wonderful view of nature. The first night it rained but we could still enjoy the hot tub as it’s under the awning so we sat and listened to the rain and soaked. We saw turkeys, deer, rabbits, and birds throughout our stay. We’ll definitely be back!! "

"The property was immaculate and had everything you needed for an extended stay. They’re are dishes,cooking utensils,and everything else you need to cook in if you choose to. What makes it nice is there’s a shower and a tub for the little ones. I couldn’t get over how quiet the street was. The house has a lot of charm, when I walked it it made me feel like going to grandmas. I had a problem getting the Wi-Fi to work so I called the owner and got an immediate response back. He told me what I needed to do and that took care of the problem. The beds are comfortable, and you even have have a washer and dryer should you need them. If you are planning a trip to Harrisburg to visit the beautiful Shawnee Forest I would definitely recommend staying here. I only come home once a year for a renunion but I will definitely stay here again. I would suggest you book early as a home this size will be booked quickly."

"It was a short trip for us to visit Garden of the Gods. This house was exactly what we needed! The kitchen was stocked with all the basic necessities, the house was clean and smelled great, multiple bedrooms and bathrooms make it great for group trips, the laundry room was an added bonus and great to wash our clothes after hiking! We could not beat the location either. Super close to the hiking trails but also close enough to town for dinner. We will be back for more trails!"
