"We loved their homemade honey and bought some to bring home. We also loved their delicious breakfast buffet and that they have their own butcher. The beds were very comfortable, and the owners were very accommodating when we unexpectedly needed to arrive late. We wished we were staying longer than one night!"

Nothing to write home about but if you’re looking for a reasonable place to rest for the night without being in a “hotel” this bed and breakfast in the countryside is a good bet. "Nein danke, nicht noch mal. Unfreundlicher Wirt, nette Mitarbeiter. Sehr runtergekommenes Hotel. löchrige Laken, Brand/Rauchmelder ohne Batterie. Kein Kühlschrank. Keine Annehmlichkeiten - Wasserkocher etc. Frühstück ausreichend, normale Hausmannskost. Diskussion wegen angeblich nicht bezahlten Zimmers. Mit Expedia gebucht und bezahlt! Wlan selten bis gar nicht verfügbar. Alles in allem nicht mehr schön und sehr abgenutzt/defekt. "

"The service was amazing and the food was delicious. Everyone from the owners who made you feel like family to all the servers were excellent. The owners spoke English. Although Steffi did not speak a lot of English she tried and always had a smile and was delightful. The tub was an unexpected surprise but a very good surprise. There was also a shower. I highly recommend this gasthof and if we come back we will definitely stay here again."

"Nice hotel, looks new and updated compared to other hotels in Germany. Very friendly staff! Great drinks at the bar and good breakfast. My only complaint would be the small bathroom/shower but thats par for the course in Germany. Will definitely stay here again next year! "

"Very nice place in a quiet scenic area. Facilities are great plus dining is very personable. Deducted a star due to a front desk member who was rude to me during check in(plus couldn’t locate our reservation the supervisor stepped in and took care of us). Also,our door lock needed repair (the maintenance guy there was top notch and saved the day by fixing our door). Aside from our check in woes this is a very nice place to stay and will probably stay here again."
