"The floor we stayed on is under a face lift, so it had an odor of fresh latex paint, but the workers were quiet and professional. There was drywall wall work going on with this refresh, but they kept the noise and the dust to a minimal. The odor of the paint was questionable until I realized what they were doing. The property is centrally located in Waikiki and right across from the beach. The staff was kind and friendly. The rooms are at the point of needing a remodel, carpet paint ext, but they seem to be on top of getting it done. The north end of the property looked to be under a major construction project as well, but other then seeing the scaffolding on that end of the atrium and the paint odor on our floor you would not know they are renovating. Typical maintenance of maintaining a large property and should not be a deal breaker. Valet parking was very convenient and recommended for the additional cost of $10/day. The pool is on the third floor and has a nice view of the beach, it is smaller but was sufficient for a cool off the day of our departure. They have beach towels and chairs that can be checked out at the pool for the beach. Over all I would not hesitate to stay here again. "

"Value, location, clean, low key friendly attentive vibe. Regrettably ate only once at the hotel dining room. It was excellent! Three kinds of poke, kaluza pig rice, burger and fries. All really delish. Loved the pool garden also. We’ll be back."

"Very responsive, and communicated via text. I could send them a message to do a breakfast reservation, change the room cleaning, etc. FYI the parking was expensive (I only had a car one night), but was at the same rate as other properties in the area, so the area is a better stay for someone without a car (it's very walkable and there are tons of shuttles)."

"Absolutely wonderful. From check in to even check out, it was effortless and easy. The rooms were very clean. Staff were wonderful. The best part is the beach is within walking distance along with a mall connected to the hotel! Very convenient! "

"I loved the location: it was easy to access by the #20 bus, and felt "in the thick" of Waikiki, but it wasn't in the extremely crowded section further to the south. It was just crowded enough that the city felt vibrant but not choking. The rooms themselves were clean and had everything we could have hoped for - including a mini fridge and a microwave, which I wasn't expecting but was a pleasant surprise! I think this hotel is a sweet spot in terms of location and cleanliness, and I could see myself coming here again if I were to return to waikiki."
