Historic beauty with incomparable service and setting. The gardens are a perfect oasis in the midst of the best shopping in Hawaii. Valet parking and bell hop are impeccably coordinated and friendly. The tower has unbeatable views of sunrise over Diamond Head, and the historic wing is gorgeous with hand carved wooden doors, high ceilings and blissfully quiet. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay. Although it shows its age that is part of its charm. It was safe plus quit among the craziness of New Years celebrations. Staff was outstanding. Slight negative was the size of the bathrooms in our room.
