"Overall is ok, 30min drive from the Jökulsárlón Glacier Lagoon and close to Höfn for grocery. A very quiet area with glacier outlets surrounding. The cabin a little bit small if you have some luggages to open. The cleanliness of the cooking utensil, pots and pans depend on the previous traveller occupied the cabin, given there is no dishwasher. The water supply is limited and hot water runs from a small electric boiler. You need to wait a while after another person has taken a hot shower....

"We stayed here for two nights so that we could do a glacier and ice cave hike, and a glacier lagoon boat trip at Jokulsarlon. The guesthouse was in an amazing setting close to the mountains. The cabins were clean and very comfortable. The included continental breakfast was excellent. It would have been nice if they'd offered a dinner option too, but the owner was able to recommend the restaurant at the nearby Hotel Smyrlabjorg. We ate there both nights and the food was amazing. "Bigger rooms.. They had coffee maker & microwave in kitchen.. Bigger room.. One of the cheaper accommodation in the area.. !!This guest house not have front desk.. it is little off the ring road.. Road leading to the property is terrible.. "
