"A lovely old property(150 years old) where they have kept some of the original features. I think it is due for an update in a few years but I hope they keep some of the original features. We stayed in the Coastguard cottages which were excellent but connected to the hotel with a covered walkway. The staff were excellent and very obliging. The evening meals were excellent although breakfasts were typical large hotel buffet style.i would still recommend it though."

Without being asked they helped with bags and opening doors etc. The food in the hotel was very good and not too expensive, even the wine was a reasonable price. Only down side was public transport.
