"I stayed in the bungalow duplex overlooking garden and sea and later moved to the water bungalow and loved both - the furnishings a quite dated, but very well kept! The best is the island was simply fantastic - allowed me to find quiet solitary space --- the staff were simply respectful, welcoming and very divine. I loved the restaurant staff at Chopstix and Baan Thai (of course al the Masala Hut) - but I kept on returning to Chopstix and Baan - the ladies took care of me. My concierge lady was fabulous - and the guys at the Beach hut with bbq fish day was fabulous also. Thank you so much ladies and gentlemen for the lovely stay - BTW - I loved the outdoor gym and Kayaking in the morning or late afternoon -- I actually got so much in shape and lost weight even if I ate a lot --- lotsa physical activities made for a perfect: Eat, Pray Love and Workout Christmas Holiday!"

"Very much enjoyed our stay at H78. We stayed one evening during our transit in Male on route to our final, island resort destination. Very convenient location. Airport transfers provided were great. Food was good and the overall facility was nice and well kept/clean. Room was a little small but as advertised and perfectly suitable for a short stay. Rooftop deck was particularly enjoyable and a great feature of this property. The staff were all very nice and really made our short stay. Special shout out to Amrita who went above and beyond in assisting us with sorting out our seaplane transfer. Highly recommend this property!"

"The staff was amazing. This place was perfect for what we needed some place clean and nice. We were able to store our luggage after checking out to explore the town. The restaurant had the best tuna I have had all trip. Everyone was very accommodating. If you are looking for a clean comfortable stay check this place out "

"The stay was very Good overall except for the Breakfast Cook was very non obliging arrogant and Not Responsive. We just wanted an alternate egg style. The Sri Lankan chef on the other hand was very Good. Please improve the Breakfast and get rid of that lazy chef and we will refer you more business "

"We didnt really enjoy staying at this hotel at all. We felt like an inconvenience to the staff. There was no ambience at all - you feel like you are walking into an abandoned room. Simple changes would really lift this hotel - - staff that smile, laugh & are happy. - Our room needed a deep clean - there was mould growing on the bathroom glass. - Some minor repairs & maintenance to doors. - at least add some flowers to the tables or placemats & play some soft music so people feel welcome Its not a bad hotel - it just needs some love. "
