"Lovely stay at Carolina. Dream place amongst mangroves looking over the ocean. Colonial style decorations in the rooms. Food was ok- some of the fish didn’t seem fresh and we got a dessert that was microwaved as it hardened as soon as it cooled. But overall would go back- lovely hotel. "

"We could not have asked for a better place to stay. The staff were amazingly kind. They treated us like family. The private beach was incredible and was much more serene than other beach options on the island. The food was great, and when we chose to eat at other properties it was an easy walk; we even had locals offering to walk us to where we wanted to go. The night time snorkel to see bioluminescent plankton was the highlight of our entire time in Colombia. We will definitely be back!"

"the setting is beautiful, with small but very lovely beaches. Rooms are spacious and comfortable. the meals were good. "The island, docks and surrounding water are very nice - however, please note that you will not have access to the entire island as some of it is private and blocked off. The resort itself is not pretty - it is very shabby and dirty. It is especially frustrating in its dirtiness since the property could be at least somewhat cleaned up fairly easily.
