"Good spot for a short stay. It is indeed a *cozy* hideaway, but the room has all the essentials. We did find that the towels provided were still damp (presumably from being washed for changeover) and the room ventilation is not great so it is difficult to get things to dry (e.g. towels between showers). Kitchenette is nicely presented and has the essentials (kettle, toaster, microwave, fridge), bedding was clean and comfortable, on the whole would recommend if you just need a place to sleep...

"Really nice stay! Flat was in perfect location for a short walk into the city centre (10mins max) for the Roman baths and Spa - Flat was clean and tidy with good facilities for cooking. Although the flat was on a busy main road, we hardly heard any noise. Parking was a short walk from the property but easy to find using the instructions and photos provided by owner. Would definitely stay again in the future! Thank you"

"Apartment was suitable for one night however bed was a bit small for two adults, shower cubicle was too small as my 6ft 3 partner couldn’t shower without bending his neck and I had trouble moving around in the cubicle because of the size. But very clean and very good communication. "

"The flat was functional and good enough for our stay but definitely needs some attention. There was everything we needed in terms of kitchenware, bedding and towels etc but it definitely could have been cleaner. There are patches of damp particularly in the bathrooms and the en-suite shower was boiling hot. The upstairs room, where there are 2 sofa beds, was damp smelling and sparse. The location is perfect, not picturesque but right off the Main Street, 5 minutes walk from the castle and river."

"Apartment right next door to Assembly Rooms, so very central. Exactly as pictured by website. Very nicely decorated. Beds very comfortable. Just be aware that on second floor with 4 flights of stairs, so not great for those with mobility issues. Also as above restaurant/bar can be noise from customers at closing time. All in all would recommend as perfect for our girls weekend."

"I would like a refund. I kept calling the owner and she said she would get back to me and never did. We had no tv all weekend because there was no controller."
