"Fabulous stay with our dog. Large comfortable room wth a walk in shower and a bath. Food is lovely and thoroughly enjoyed both dinner and breakfast. Large very comfortable lounge with good wifi. Good local walks and scenery. It wasnt my first stay and wont be the last"

"We stayed at The Royal Oak this weekend. We loved it from start to finish. Room was lovely. Spacious and comfortable. We did get an upgrade which was a very lovely surprise. Breakfast was 5 star. We had dinner in the hotel one of the nights - again it was amazing. Very busy but that shows how good it is. Overall we loved it and would definitely recommend it to others. The staff were so welcoming, friendly and helpful which really adds to the experience. Our dog even got treated like royalty!...

"The hotel is very friendly staff couldnt do enough for you . The food was 5 star on all meals and we could also pay extra to have breakfast in bed . (Real treat ) We had a four poster room which was lovely and a good size but a little noisey from the road .The beds and pillows were to hard for us but this is our preference so might suit a lot of people. All in all a wonderful stay and enjoyed the pool and sauna ,jacuzzi also We will ba back "
