"It was a traditional Japanese room where you sleep on a futon on a tatami floor. The room was beautiful with a nice sitting balcony room that overlooked the side of the mountain. The only problem was the smell of the dust that gathered on or inside the tatami. We don't know whether this is normal and we just aren't used to sleeping in a tatami room."

"Loved our stay at Spa Shiosai. We only stayed 1 night but I would definilty stay again in the future. We were snowboarding at Rusutsu and it was an easy drive. "The hotel is located next the expressway within a BBQ restaurant with free self parking. We stayed at the only room with ensuite bathroom on level 1 which is convenient. The restaurant food is nice and reasonable priced. Coffee and drinking water is provided at the common lounge area. The room is clean and comes with a standalone aircon unit.
