"The room was spacious, bright, and comfortable. We were surprised when the bed was not made or towels replaced, as we were not advised that the management did not service the rooms at all during our stay. We did request more coffee, and it was left outside the room for us. The breakfasts were delicious, hot, and made to order. The inn is centrally located, and it was easy to get to attractions and the beach. We would definitely stay here again if in the area. "

"We really enjoyed the spacious rooms. They offered to make smores from 6 to 9 pm. The breakfast was okay. We enjoyed the waffle maker but they need to offer sausage or bacon to go with the waffle. They only offered sausage inside a frozen breakfast biscuit sandwich. "

"I so wanted to give this hotel five stars just because of the location, comfortable bed, and the price. If I went back to St. Simons Island would I stay here again..maybe so. We stayed in two different rooms and both were far from being sparkly clean. We had to be moved from our first room because it was leaking into the room below us. In the first room, the off-white chair pads were so grossly stained we wouldn’t sit in them. The second room had a lamp in it with mold growing on the lamp...

"Despite unusually cold weather, the reception at Jekyll Ocean Club was warm and welcoming. We found plenty to do on the island and nearby. We had amazing meals here and in other island restaurants. Had a massage, loved the hot tub and everyone enjoyed horseback riding on the beach. Love this hotel. Our second time there and will be back for sure. "
