"Amazing location with wonderful walks and views from the door step, added extra shot of wellness by taking a pottery class on site under Sarah’s expert and passionate guidance which was a creative treat💗 The most accommodating hosts who went above and beyond to ensure we were all comfortable - including the dogs - even sharing a gorgeous home cooked meal & wine - Devine few days in this very special corner of Devon. "This is a perfect get away location. Breathtaking views, two pubs nearby and very comfortable. WiFi was intermittent at times but with the views and seals keeping us entertained it wasn’t a big problem. We did let the owners know about it not being clean and they were going to rectify this with the company they used. 100% would stay again it’s idilic."

"Lovely property in close proximity to the beach at Challaborough Bay and a short walk to Bigbury. The property was as described and overlooks the Challaborough Bay holiday park. It's great for surfing and visiting Bigbury/Burgh Island. Salcombe is a short drive and there are many National Trust places to visit. Note that the drive down to the property is a typical road to the coast (e.g. steep and narrow)."

"I’ve been going to the south hams for decades and we were visiting family for a long weekend. We decided to stay at stancombe farm as we wanted the flexibility of eating in and out. Our accomodation was really well equipped and we cooked a few times and had everything we needed. Microwave, Nespresso, dishwasher. The cupboards had all the little items you often need salt, pepper, vinegar. Location wise just above Chillington. A real credit to the owner. We will be back."

"We stayed here for a week with our 3 children, their parners and 4 grand children, making a party of 12. The house was amazing, from a very well equipped kitchen, lovely bedrooms and relaxing seating areas, all beautifully decorated.There was a large garden, (athough the little ones needed supervision as there are two large ponds), and a lovely courtyard seating area. A very well stocked under stairs cupboard with windbreak, chairs, parasol etc for the beach.Also games,and a pool/table tennis...

"Croak cottage is a home away from home. Beautifully presented and every detail thought about. The garden is fantastic for a family, with access to the esturary we were able to paddleboard every day, and drying everything out was so easy afterwards. The views are stunning too. "

"The property was very clean and well equipped, unfortunately we ran into a few problems. Check in day revealed television problems , the next day a tv expert found a cut antenna wire. We had to turn on the heat for the towel rails, We never had evening or morning heating."
