"The staff were so polite and helpful wanting your stay to be the best. The hotel is set back from the busy-ness of Ubud but close enough to still get around. Only challenge is the traffic but think that’ll apply to any hotel in Ubud. There are lots of nice restaurants right near the hotel also. Luxurious hotel, beautiful scenery. Lots of veggie options, lovely daily yoga."
"A good property, but showing its age a bit. All staff were very friendly and accommodating. The location was very good, and close to shopping, restaurants and the monkey park. Rooms were clean but showing some age. Breakfast was very good and staff very attentive, really liked the free afternoon tea time. Overall a good experience."
"Beautiful and quiet hotel, all staff members were exceptional. I really enjoyed my stay.
Rooms were very clean, Beautiful grounds and close to many shops and restaurants. "
"Very attentive and kind staff, delicious food, excellent facilities, great perks (inc., afternoon tea and transfers), and convenient and central location."
"Situated in the centre of Ubud, no end of shops, restaurants bars on the doorstep, but still a peaceful oasis to relax.
I think only 8 apartments. Small but nice pool for cooling off. Staff are lovely, and breakfast(included) is fresh fruit and choice of eggs, tea and coffee.
Great value for money."
"Very nice "hidden" getaway! Unfortunately there was construction going on in front of the hotel that we had to walk through, but aside from that, this place has a wonderful tranquil property! Good breakfast options, quiet, and super close to restaurants and shopping. Staff is super friendly. "
"Nice family run property close to the main Ubud shopping and restaurant area but in a quiet off street location, staff and owner were very helpful and communicated well, we had a very clean single room with en suite in a pleasant courtyard setting."
"We absolutely loved our stay at Jati cottage. We were really sad to leave. Our room exceeded our expectations on arrival. Our room was accessed up our own set of steps, we had a large private balcony overlooking the pool. 2 double beds side by side which was perfect for our needs, there was also a sofa in the room. The bathroom was spacious. The pool area is stunning with plants surrounding the pool giving the ground floor rooms privacy and giving the pool area a really tropical feel.

Gayatri
10/10 Excellent
"Gayatri is the perfect hotel for exploring Bali, right in the heart of Ubud city center, walkable to shops, restaurants, tourists sites, yoga studios and everything Ubud has to offer, yet set back from the main road so it’s super peaceful and serene with lush nature views all around. I really appreciated the authentic Balinese architecture and decor, the beautiful pool area with nice seating and dining area beside the pool, stunning open air yoga shala and comfortable clean rooms. The food was so delicious and healthy and I loved that it was all vegan, with so many different options for breakfast and dinner, also the presentation of the food was outstanding. The staff were all very sweet, courteous and helpful. There was a bit of confusion about the yoga classes and whether or not they were open to hotel guests, and I later discovered they were sadly only for people signing up for a full week or longer. I also felt the bed linens and towels were quite scented even though they didn’t use perfume at my request. Overall I had a great stay and would stay again!"
