"Goodness us…. PLEASE treat yourself and stay at least one night in this beautiful traditional hotel with its own onsen! We had a superbly decorated very very very large traditional room (tatamis), a view of the little port and the sea of Japan with sunset…. "We were lucky enough to book two nights at this Sora to Umi. The location is stunning - on a clifftop overlooking the sea of Japan. When the sun is shining the colour of the sea is simply amazing. "After a few hectic days in Kyoto we started to relax on the 2 1/2 hour train ride to Amino. The hotel shuttle picked us up as previously arranged. The hotel has only 8 bedrooms, all with sea views. The staff are all very friendly and enthusiastic. The food is excellent; we had the Japanese meals but some western dish are available."
