"Everything is top quality: service, staff's attitude, restaurant, cleanliness, free shuttle from/to the station. They pay attention to every detail and every your request.
They have prepared outstanding vegan meal upon my request. Highly recommend to people with food restrictions.
Also, there is a garden and various activities that you can enjoy with kids too."
"The hotel is in a beautiful location but if you want to go into town it’s a very long walk. Hotel offers shuttle service but limited schedule to return. Very few taxis available. The staff is very helpful to accommodate you but you must plan in advance. The onsen in the hotel is very nice with stunning ocean views."
"Wonderful stay. Friendly, professional and accommodating staff from the moment we drove up to the property to when we depart. The staff even helped to sort out our luggage delivery to the next accommodation in another city. Our hostess Matsuri was sweet, polite and gracious.
The property itself is beautiful and exudes an old-world charm, and our room with in-room onsen is such a treat. The meals we had were also delicious and thoughtfully prepared and presented.
We had a lovely time at...
"Tsukimotoya Ryokan provided a memorable and authentic ryokan experience for our family. Only a few minutes from the main onsen baths (yanagiyu, ichinoyu, goshonoyu, konouyu and jizoyu). The Kaiseki breakfast and dinner were amazing and so delicious. The warm hospitality provided to us felt like we were staying with family instead of at a public ryokan. Very reasonably priced and highly recommended. "
"The property is a real gem. A bit dated but don't let that put you off. Great location, amazing traditional breakfast, great little public bath and super nice staff. Just remember to take your shoes off before entering."

"Very quiet, clean, and peaceful environment. The house manager was very hospitable. If you’re looking for an authentic experience, this is the place to stay. WOMEN ONLY. Absolutely best part of our trip (we stayed at four other “high-end” hotels which didn’t compare). "
"I stayed here for a night and absolutely loved the stay. The hotel was spacious and had a private outdoor heated bath. The owners helped me with reserving dinner with a local restaurant that was really good. I highly recommend anyone coming to kinosaki stay with here."
"We stayed one night as a quick visit. The hotel is located at the end of the onsen strip. It's a older hotel. Lights are dimmer than the ones in the cities. We like that we get futons and sleep on the floor. Front desk staff speaks limited English, but they try their best to answer our questions. They will use a translator to help us understand if we have questions. They also loan out yukata for us to wear and we can onsen hop to other hotel onsen at no additional charge. We get a tour to our...
"Wonderful first time experience in Kinosakionsen! This hotel is in the perfect location. It's a very short walk from the train station and all of the 7 public onsens. Also a short walk to the Kinosaki Ropeway. There are 2 private onsens in the hotel where couples/families can soak together. Every floor has a light to indicate if available. Service is impeccable and easy to communicate in English with the staff. Food is plentiful! Breakfast and Dinner were included as well as an afternoon tea...
"Excellent place. Only little things is would benefit with just a bit more information in English, some of the experience and explanations are confusing but overall an amazing place to be"
"Enjoyable place to stay. Spa was nice though it was closed the hour before check out, so it was not super convenient. We couldn’t get double beds in the room, which was not ideal for a honeymoon. Still had a good time. "
"The property was well maintained and clean. All mentioned facilities in the property were well maintained. The team was very helpful and always did their best to help us. They went out of their way to make sure that we had a comfortable and pleasant stay. Thank you so much for taking care of us."
"Great hotel close to the station.
The staff is really amazing.
The rooms are simple yet very good. Great Internet connection even for video calls.
The free breakfast was just amazing (you can bring it up your room if you want)
Just make sure not tk book a smoking room if you don't smoke like I did... But if you do, they have sprays that help with the smell!"

A lot of shops closed by 8 pm so book dinner at the hotel if it's available. We didn't stay long enough to enjoy the onsen at other hotels so will definitely return to try other onsens next trip. The shower room was super clean for an older hotel. Looks brand new!"
