"It was my second stay there and it is a really great hotel. The location is perfect for me...not rammed in a hotel zone but only a few minutes on foot to the old town and cathedral, and even closer to Gascon Street. The staff is very good also. Jose, at the front desk, speaks perfect English. He helped us very much. He oriented me to the town and gave my son a map with some highlights to get around. I definitely recommend it."

"A reasonable place to stay. Very good and friendly staff. The room was lacking a little - multiple globes not working. The room was quiet, even on a main street. Opening the bathroom window was not an option due to the strong smell of cigarette smoke in the central courtyard."

"Very nice hotel, very helpful and polite staff. Reception closes as 22:00 but they make good arrangements for late check in. Spacious room and clean. Breakfast is a little limited for the price, but acceptable. Will stay again in coming to Oviedo 😉😉"

"Hotel fine, nothing fancy but perfectly ok. Only difficulty was parking. Never impressed by hotels that charge their guests to park so opted to park in the road but usually no spaces very near. Not a big problem but irritating. Disappointing to find an ashtray in the room although surprisingly it did not stink like smokers rooms usually do"

"We had an amazing two nights at Solo Palacio. A beautiful Manor House in incredible surroundings! The infinity pool was stunning & the spa also. It would have been nice to have had a coffee machine in our suite tho. We’ll hopefully return again. "

"This property is overpriced. For over $200 a night, I would expect a room that does not smell of urine and for my mini fridge to work. I called the front desk several times asking for the mini fridge to be repaired to no avail. Some of the staff (the waiter at the Bar) were very pleasant and others (woman at the front desk when I checked in) were not pleasant. Realmente es una residencia universitaria y como tal hay que valorarla (en los 5 días de mi estancia nadie entró a hacer la habitación ni a cambiar las sábanas ni las toallas). "Loved the location, opposite the Campo de San Francisco. Easy to walk everywhere. Room was basic as per its star rating. Only issue I had was some neighbours were very, very loud. It's not the hotel's fault. Also, plumbing came through wallls, so i knew when neighbors were showering. Overall, I am happy with the hotel as I was out most of the time."
