Help was readily available best staff ever. Kind and helpful. Loved not having a tv. Amazing how I focused more on the water and view. Music in the room was brilliant. Felt very safe, lots of restaurants around and the beach is right at your feet. Lastly, it is nice to hear the waves at night.

This was a great little getaway for my husband and I. I would come back. The only thing I didn’t like was that Expedia says all fees were included and when I arrived, I had to pay $38 to park my car as well as $60-ish dollar resort fee. It turned out to be more expensive than I thought.

It was partially under construction when we went and even so it was still such a lovely stay. This property is becoming one of socal’s gems and I can’t wait to return to one of their upgraded rooms!

This location is absolutely fantastic. Beach front. Less than 15 min walk to downtown and on the way are tons of shopping and dining options. My room was the ocean front queen suite which was actually much larger than I thought! The space was bright and open. Bed was comfy , staff was very helpful for the most part. My only reason for not giving 5 stars was that the place is pretty dated and needs some tlc. The bathroom is very small ( but kept clean ) , the lighting was terrible through the unit. Most of the lamps didn’t stay on once I finally got them on. If the air con kicked in then the lights faded. Not the worst but kind of annoying. Headboard on the bed was detached and slammed loudly into the bed anytime you move. Living room tv was so small for such a large space. kitchen had no towels or dishes other than 2 cups for water no paper towels either. Housekeeping was hit or miss. Some days they were amazing and some days they didn’t clean half the place ( dishes left in the sink , paper towels left around the living area ). The door was a bit sticky as well. It took a few tries to lock it properly. Overall it was a beautiful spot to stay, the Lounge areas , fire pits and beach chairs/umbrellas were an amazing addition. I would stay here again but would set my expectations accordingly. You’re paying top dollar for the location for sure but it’s worth it unless it’s a rainy crappy day and you’re stuck in the dark room with no dishes and a very very small tv.

Nobu is we off the beaten path and the room rates were very reasonable for the quality of the room. I knocked it down a star because the expensive food and drink options and the distance of the vicinity. Its great if you just want to stay in the resort but not if you like to ventured around

Although there were no dining facilities in the lodge, there were SO many great options all within a 5-10 minute walk! Direct access to beach with secure re-entry, helpful and pleasant/cheerful staff who really care about the environment. Very clean rooms and attentive maid service. Well done

If you want the real good rooms pay extra for the ocean view. The peaceful king was very nice but no tv was provided but I think that is the case for every room. The guys who do valet parking were very top notch but getting a vehicle in & out is difficult. Overall we did enjoy our stay
