"I recently stayed at this rental house, and it was a wonderful experience. The space was clean, cozy, and well-maintained, with all the necessary amenities. The location was ideal, close to local shops and transportation, making it easy to get around. The landlord was responsive and helpful throughout the stay. "My family enjoyed a long weekend, taking advantage of the pond for swimming and boating, the walk to the nearby waterfall, and the fire pit for some evening smores. Major Tom was helpful and, as others noted, brought us fresh eggs and was available if anything came up. We all had a wonderful time. Minor mark down on cleanliness because there were mouse droppings on the pans kept in the lower shelves of the kitchen, as wells as a large pile of droppings--presumably more than a couple days worth--on the second floor balcony that we had to sweep out before our dog got at them. But all together it was a wonderful stay! "

"We pull up to the property and it looks old and run down (deck is falling apart). The hot tub is unusable and dirty in the front yard. The fire pit was filled with junk. There is a lake across the street that no human would go in. The code I was given to get into the house was wrong. I had to text the owner for the correct code. When you walk into the house, it was extremely hot, humid and smells moldy. The main AC was BROKEN. There is a portable AC unit that was not turned on. When we turned it on, it wasn’t sufficient to cool down the house. Besides that, there was no batteries in the tv remote controls. We had to manually turn on the tv; however, that was useless because there is NO CABLE. You think that is all…until you walk down to the ground level where the pool table is UNUSABLE…disgusting and filled with dirt and dust. The rooms were tiny, smelly, and dingy. None of these things were disclosed or communicated prior to our arrival. I contacted the owner and he had no answers and thought bringing another useless portable AC unit would fix all the issues. I declined and left the property. The owner would not refund me and would not even answer my calls or texts after I left the property. DO NOT RENT THIS PROPERTY. VRBO and his management company Evolve were also useless and terrible to deal with. This was a horrible experience and I will stick with FRBO from now on."
