"There were no surprises when we arrived and checked out the house. It was very thoughtful that there were some food items for our arrival. Everything worked fine and the owner was responsible for a couple of maintenance issues. The yard lights did not come on the last two nights and we missed them. Getting around the area by walking is a little sketchy because the roadway is narrow. We found the ferry stop 10 minutes from the house very convenient."

"Beautiful home with two gorgeous terraces. The shower is a bit tight but the main bathroom is overall very nice. Parking is a bit of a challenge but it’s not terrible you just need to orient yourself in the area because there is lots of parking a very short walk from the property. Angelo is an amazing host. Live like a local at this villa!"

"The property was lovely and the are very quiet. It was very difficult to locate and parking was an issue. The hot water in the shower was an issue and not enough kitchen facilities to wash up if you cook."

"There’s no question it’s a beautiful home overlooking Lake Como, with a charm that is remjniscent of something out of a Harry Potter novel. Unfortunately, the home itself self has a fair amount of deferred maintenance. Lightbulbs were burned out in master bathroom, the door handle on the washing machine was broken, certain shutters didn’t work, there is no air conditioning in any room and some of the wiring is unlikely to be up to code, although I dont know that for sure. "The house was well-appointed and was nice for our party of eight. The view was amazing, and the neighborhood was great. The washer needs to be replaced, it stopped working. Our biggest complaint was the bee issue in the pool. Deigo was responsive to our WhatsApp messages and sent out a maintenance staff member, but using poison was not an option if we wanted to continue using the pool. We asked for a partial refund but it was never addressed. Overall we had a good five-night stay but the...
