"This is a really lovely resort! I was surprised that I order to receive housekeeping, you have to request it by dropping off a slip of paper to the front desk. This was inconvenient. The on site restaurants were fantastic and the little gift shop was full of all sorts of goodies. The trails on the property were amazing and the pool was a perfect place to relax. The area of WV was in an extreme drought when we were there so the lake was very low-- but that didn't stop water activities! How fun!"

"Very friendly service. Room was clean. The only thing I can find fault is the room smelled a bit musty. Not sure if the air filter for the ac needed replaced or if water was spilled and that’s what the smell was from. But other then that very nice stay."

"We had such a nice time staying here! Traveled from NW Ohio for a wedding which was held at the winery where the property is located. The host was so nice, allowing us to check in a little early & extrmemly easy to contact as well as very responsive. The property is absolutely beautiful; loved having my coffee on the balcony overlooking the mountains & woods. We have a couple suggestions that I dont think should take away from the star rating, just minor inconveniences- there was only 1 coffee...

"We have gone to the area every year for Thanksgiving week for 4 years now. We have family in the area and my husband hunts. What a great and convenient place for us as it is close to family. House was better than expected. It was very clean and check in was very easy. Brenda was very accommodating as we drove from Florida overnight. I would highly recommend a stay here and would definitely book again in the future."
