"This was a great property with great owners. I’d say it’s probably worth spending a little but extra to make sure you have the view of valley and mountains, we had a side view but we’d know next time. Everything is very hog spec. And the family were SUPER helpful. Really comfortable bed and lovely sofa and out door furniture. Absolutely would recommend. Just half an hour to the beaches and lots of good places to eat and places to visit "

"Spectacular view, extremely clean, very spacious. We were two couples and had a lot of room. Dimitri was an excellent host. Comfortable beds, great shower. Can be a little difficult to find the first time, but Dimitri will guide you! Loved having coffee on the deck every morning. Will miss our time in Crete!"

You would definitely require a car to get around. Buses do run but we found it much easier to have a car for getting to and from beaches and restaurants etc."

"Brilliant location. Lovely views, great apartment. One small thing, the light bulbs are a very white stark bright light,it would be nicer with a warmer bulb as it felt too bright and corporate. But the whole apartment is great x lots of room. The hotel room service was excellent. Really helpful and friendly "

"Very idyllic, very calm, in the middle of nature. On warm days we enjoyed the pool very much. The surrounding nature is really nice and the nearby villages as well. It takes around 20 minutes by car to beaches which are well suited for small children. We enjoyed the stay!"

"Although I searched specifically for the city of Loutro, this listing came up as the only property available that fit my search criteria. Not being familiar with the area, we realized after it was booked, and already passed the cancellation date, that this is in another city entirely. And another city requiring a boat ride as the only way to get from one to the other (no roads). Neither the property owner nor VRBO were willing to admit the mistake and reimburse us. They charged us anyway, even...

"Fotis was very helpful and welcoming. The pool and surroundings were immaculate and well-maintained. The studio was comfortable and well equipped with some thoughtful welcoming touches. The balcony was sunny and pleasant but overlooked a busy road with associated traffic noise. We hadn't realised it was more than walking distance (for us!) to amenities so it was necessary to drive everywhere. For that reason alone we are unlikely to return but it is a good base for touring the locality."
