"Very much unstaffed at weekends and evenings. We had an administrative problem while checking in (we were told the wrong key safe), which whilst fixed was only an issue because the hotel is not staffed. We also only recieved a single pillow and duvet for two of us, but didn't try and resolve it as there wer no staff to talk to and we'd already had to ring once to check in. It was clean and well located for the port. Parking was good, and the bus route goes past, but does not stop outside. "

"I was in Stavanger to go to The September When concert at the DNB Arena. The Clarion Hotel Energy is literally just next door, so I didn't have to think about how I was going to get back to my accommodation after the gig. Added bonus: the hotel is halfway between the airport and the centre of Stavanger. The airport bus (FB40) + regular buses and night buses stop just outside. Alternatively, it is an easy walk (past a lovely lake) or cycle to the city centre. Taxis also seem readily available...

Only problem is that we got lock out from doors, access code wasn't working after we move all luggage in the room. "My wife and I stayed at the Bryne Hotell after a Burns Supper organized and hosted by the hotel. A very enjoyable event accompanied by traditional music (a visiting Scottish band), bagpipes, whisky, haggis and poetry.
