"What a gem! We had a lovely 2-night stay at Alparthotel surrounding one day of skiing at Champery. The hotel is lovely, quiet, and clean. It is an easy walk from the Chemin de Verger bus stop. We did not have a car and were able to walk to a Coop nearby (grocery store and restaurant). The rooms were comfortable and modern. Would definitely recommend!"

"Pretty setting. Hotel restaurant is apparently good but we were unable to make a reservation. Communication was difficult as the staff exclusively spoke French and were unable to communicate with us in English, German or Italian - while we were able to understand the gist, it is surprising for a hotel that presumably attracts a diverse clientele. No hairdryer in room and WiFi was unreliable. Overall it is surprising that the hotel has a 4 star rating as that was not our experience."

"Attached to the thermal baths and Nordic Spa is super convenient (access included in hotel rate). Staff try really hard to make it a pleasant experience. The rooms are reasonably up to date, though the bathrooms are smallish, particularly the showers. Dining options are slightly limited with the onsite buffet and the nearby Chalet a la carte Swiss traditional food. The included breakfast was decent basic offering, not high end.
