"The outside grounds of this hotel are beautiful! The location is also very convenient. I found the staff to be extremely helpful and kind, though I don't know what their English speaking capabilities are since I speak Mandarin. However, the walls of the rooms are paper thin. I could hear every TV show, alarm, and conversation in the room next to me. Being in my room was not relaxing at all. The rooms also have no windows, which was very disappointing. "I think the property space is great. We upgraded ourselves to 3 bedrooms villa, while it was great, it wasn't very well maintain. There wasn't much to do nearby the hotel, Shuhe old town was nearby but not really walking friendly too. However its till convenient to get a taxi or Didi to go around Lijiang main old town.
