"We stayed here over the 4th of July weekend. The house is very well maintained and had everything we might need! The hosts are incredible and responsive if anything came up. And when they warn about the stickers on the walk to the lake, they aren’t joking! Those stickers are awful. But overall, we had a really great time. It ended up raining pretty much the whole time we were there, but we made great use of the card games that were provided! Would absolutely recommend and would stay here again!"

"We loved our stay! The cabin was so private in the middle of a beautiful pasture with goats and horses! It was convenient to Colorado Bend State Park where we spent the day hiking! A beautiful back porch to sit and watch the wildlife! "

"Beautiful location on Lake Buchanan. We saw spectacular sunsets from our room, which had a back door to enjoy the lakefront. The room was very comfortable with a well stocked kitchenette - sink, full size fridge, microwave, toaster oven, regular coffee maker, Keurig coffee pod machine, stovetop burners, and even a cute s’more kit in the fridge to use with the patio grill. The property had a lovely covered dock with porch swings to enjoy the lake and a covered picnic table area, as well as a swimming dock and boat loading area. We were sad to leave. "

"What an absolutely incredible experience! We stayed for 3 days at the Artemis Ranch at the Vista Cottage. When we arrived, we were greeted by the owner, Ty, himself! He went out of his way to give us such an unforgettable experience in every way possible.During our stay, we got a tour of the ranch, seeing all kinds of beautiful wildlife and scenery - the waterfalls were awe inspiring - while learning so much about the animals, the ranch, and even Ty himself! After the tour, we got to stop by and feed Tank the rhino and some giraffes.Words (and even pictures) cannot express how amazing of a time we had here. If you stay here, please do yourself a favor and book 3 nights to truly get the full experience. It's beyond worth it!"

"Its beautiful. They have thought of everything you might need & then some. Loved watching the exotic animals & the peaceful surroundings. The cabin feels like home. I love the "Andi Sloan" sayings! The cookies were delicious. They even sent messages of love day of funeral. John & Karen are very special people. You can tell how much they love people & the area. Itll be the best vacation every. They also have deer hunts & San Saba has unique stores. Absolutely love San Saba. Wish I coild upload more pics."
