Lovely Twin Room with Terrace& Private entrance

The twin room has 2 single beds, private on suite bathroom and own entrance with shared terrace. It's equipped with kettle, plates, cups and cutlery. There are also hairdryer and iron. You are welcome to use the books.
Please note there is no TV, only wifi connection.
The terrace with splendid view is available for use and smoking, however please note that it is communal, not private.A fabulous apartment situated opposite Kentish Town Station and 10 minutes walk from vibrant Camden Town and stunning Hampstead Heath. It has excellent public transport connections and a great place to relax. The apartment is situated above a coffee shop Starbucks, you have access to the apartment from the rear entrance. There are several flights of stairs so please be sure to check before booking, it is not suitable for disabled access. There is also free parking on a street with no possibility to book in advance, place can be taken on arrival upon availability.
Early and late check in are also to be charged.
Please note the room does not have a kitchen or cooking facilities.
We offer washing service at a fee of £20 per one load of clothes.

The flat has access to a communal terrace! The terrace has 2 cameras - 1 is on top of the entrance door to fix people coming in and out of the building, the 2nd one is on the right side of the wall while looking at the entrance covering the terrace itself. We put it there only for safety reasons.

Perfect for a weekend trip

Perfect little flat for a weekend trip. We didn’t need much as we weren’t there during the day but it had everything we needed! Located on a good street with lots of shops and right across the street from the train station and bus stop

Good stay in Kentish Town

We stayed for a weekend and for that matter it was a very good place to stay. The neighborhood is busy with loads of shops, stores and lovely bakery’s. It’s great for going by foot to see Kentish Town or Camden Town or take public transport (which is right in front of the door) to go anywhere else. The cleanliness was okay, bare in mind that there’s only a curtain and no bathroom door. It was quiet warm in London when we came here but when it cooled down, the heating didn’t seem to work. We would stay here again anytime!

Great location

Great value for money. Shower holder was broken but managed ok with it. Plenty of hot water. Curtain for bathroom door could be a privacy issue if you're bunking with a friend, but fine for solo travellers. Heated mattress pads were amazing for the winter cold pads

Great appartment

It was just what we needed for a weekend in London: a place to stay not far from everything but affordable, the street is quite busy but because the flat is at the back it was fine.

A Good Spot

We enjoyed our stay! We did not spend a lot of time in the room, but it was nice when we were there. I will say that you should really like the person you're staying with as there is only a shower curtain for a bathroom door, so very little privacy. Otherwise, it was a great place to use as a base while we explored London and easy to get to. Wifi could use some work as it was quite slow.

Exactly what it says it is

No surprises, convenient, manager very responsive. Not fancy but very handy for our needs, reasonably quiet (it's a busy street with construction while we were there but as unit is on back of building it wasn't disruptive) Great value.

The Basics

This stay had two beds, a shower and a toilet. It was all we needed as we wanted to try the food during our entire stay. If you're looking for more, like a fridge and stove, there was a larger unit on the top floor. The location was within walking distance of Camden Market. We used our legs, the buses, the trains and the subway system together around. Overall, a super stay, as this location has stores and restaurants close by. My daughter loved the weighted blanket, but I didn't care for it.

Good location

Had issues with the WiFi connection constantly. Needs attention. Asked for hoover or at least a shovel and brush to clean the room but not given. Overall great location and nice heating.

Great property

I was attending the AC/DC concert at Wembley with my youngest son so wanted somewhere close to the City but also within easy distance of Wembley. I lived in Tufnell Park a long time ago so was familiar with the area. When I saw this property advertised I knew the area and wow what a price for the property. I jumped at the chance to book. It was ideal as it’s a twin as well. The booking in process was so easy and the flat is very clean. It’s within easy walking distance of Camden Town and Tufnell Park tubes. Be aware Kentish twin is closed for refurb but was not an issue. Buses also stop oppose the property. A wonderful property at a great price. It was very good value for what we paid and AC/DC we’re simply the best so made the stay exceptional.

Affordable stay in good location

The room was cozy, comfy beds and in a good position directly infront of the underground (the underground was shut during our stay for renovations). A few negatives would be we were provided with one roll of toilet paper and was told we had to buy our own if we ran out. There is no fridge to keep milk for tea/coffee and our hot water was off one night, we contacted John and it was not fixed until we rang the next morning. This room is under the stairs and the building is shared with others so it can be a bit noisy when others walk up the stairs. There is also only a curtain for the bathroom. Overall it is a good, affordable and comfortable room with the basic necessities.

Cute and clean

Pretty and clean apartment with a comfy bed and great shower! We enjoyed all the little touches like the nice body wash, shampoo, etc., the chocolate bar, and the huge towels! Very easy and quick walk to town center and train station. Thank you!

Kurzer Trip mit zwei Personen

Ein schönes kleines Zimmer mit allem, was man braucht. Die Lage ist sehr gut und überraschend ruhig, obwohl es an einer viel frequentierten Straße liegt, da das Fenster nach hinten zeigt. Die Bushaltestelle ist direkt vor der Tür und wird von zwei Linien 24 Stunden lang angefahren. Check in und out waren sehr simple und auch die Kommunikation verlief absolut reibungslos. Das Badezimmer ist sehr klein und auch einen Fernseher sucht man vergebens. Wer mit den vorher genannten Punkten leben kann und ein, für London extrem günstiges Zimmer mit sehr guter Anbindung an die zentrale Innenstadt sucht, kann hier einen angenehmen Aufenthalt erwarten.

Niedliche Wohnung mit Abstrichen

Die Wohnung ist liebevoll eingerichtet. Es gibt einen Wasserkocher und ein wenig Geschirr. Wichtig zu wissen wäre aber: - das Badezimmer hat keine Tür, lediglich einen Vorhang -Toilettenpapier, Duschgel und Spülmittel sind nicht vorhanden bzw. Nur Reste vom Vormieter - das Wasser ist sehr Chlorhaltig - in der Wohnung ist es kalt (ungedämmte wand und Fenster).

Overall, very quaint and comfortable

Overall, we had a good stay here at this location. Especially because we were only really there to sleep, not hang out. I wouldn't recommend it if you plan to spend a lot of time in the flat only due to the size of it. Pros: - Private entrance - John was an AMAZING host!! Above and beyond! - Quaint and overall comfortable - Many products, small appliances available - Across the street from the underground, only 20min away from main city - Great restaurants around this location Cons: - Only a curtain for the bathroom door - We had an issue of ants the last couple days, however we did find bug spray that helped - The room is under very noisy stairs - You have to enter through a back alley that intimidated us at first, but ended up being just fine Many of the cons ended up not being an issue, but were more of an initial surprise. Pretty typical for Europe. I was happy with it in the end!
