"This was not the best start to a family get together. They sent me the code, which worked, but there were no keys. When you call the VRBO # they are in Seattle,Washington. By werd fluke, my son googled the lock on the the door and was able to open the the door. Not a safe felling! Once inside, things had to be cleaned- blankets dirty, pee on the mattress pad with fresh sheet on top(?) Dishes, cups,silverware,etc in the kitchen had to be washed. Going on vacation- you normally got have to clean...

"The homes was absolutely beautiful and as described. I would note that the dock situation was not the best if you are planning to bring more than one boat. It's also on a very busy part of the lake right before a no wake zone. The noise and boating traffic did settle down during the week but the weekends are crazy. "Getting to and from the lakehouse was a breeze, the location was perfect. Check-In was seamless and so was communcation with the property manager. The house had everything you'd need for the most part, plent of space for everyone to enjoy their time. The dock was perfect for fishing and swimming, could use a power washing as it was littered with spiders. The house was clean but you could tell it had been awhile in-between guests as you'd find cobwebs and the elements haven't been great to the...

"A group of us gathered for a bit of a staycation from the Richmond area. We had a ladies night on Friday and we honestly couldn't have asked for a better location!! Saturday we had some other friends join us for food on the water and it was the most relaxing setting for us to reset and connect. "We rented this house to take our 17 year old son and his friends for a lake getaway to celebrate the end of the school year. It was a fantastic trip for them. The house had every amenity possible both inside and at at the lake. The hosts, Daniel and Zach, were incredibly responsive, nice, and helpful. The location of the house was perfect. Close to the Food Lion and restaurants and of course lakefront! There was nothing we needed at all and even if we did, I know help was just a phone call away....
