Apartment situated on the ground floor in a renovated farmhouse with private garden furnished for outdoor eating and relax. Shared pool. WiFI.
Excellent position, not far from Lucca and close to a restaurant/pizzeria.

The farmhouse has been recently restored and divided into eight units of which only a few are habitually utilized. The house is surrounded by beautiful nature in one of Lucca's wine regions "Colline Lucchesi" which produces excellent wines. In this area there are also a lot of olive groves used in the preparation of the famous virgin olive oil from Lucca.

The swimming pool 12 x 6,50 mt with a varying dept of 1,20 mt to 1,50 mt is situated close to the house and it's shared with the other guests. It is completely fenced but children in or around the pool area must be under adult supervision at all times.

The house has been restored with great care trying to preserve as much as possible of the original style.
The apartment Mandolo is on two floors and consists of:
Bright living room with sofa bed (1 adult or 2 children) , fire place, satellite tv, kitchen corner (gas hob, oven, fridge with freezer, dishwasher, coffee machine).
On the first floor there is a double bedroom, a bathroom with shower (hair dryer). Aircondition in the bedroom. WiFI.
Heating and washing machine. Private parking inside the property, heating.
The last 450 mt to the property is gravel road.

Lovely, quiet secluded apt. in the countryside yet a short drive to Lucca and other towns in the area. Pisa 30 minutes, Cinque Terre 75 minutes. Beautiful pool and grounds. Nice market close by along with some quality restaurants. Vipere especially appealing. Patio with stunning views. Highly recommended.

We had a really great time
We had a really great time. The location of the Apartment is perfect, very quiet but not far away from lucca,Pisa. Further the Apartment is very well equipped! Also the outside area is very nice. The Pool is perfect to relax and you can sit in the frontthe back of the Apartment to enjoy the sun. Thank you for this amazing experience in Tuscany. We would definetly come back! Paulina

Lille perle et stenkast fra Lucca by.
Det er en skøn lille bolig i rolige omgivelser. Lejligheden er perfekt for 2 og indeholder præcis det, der skal til for afslappet ferie. Poolen er rigeligt stor, og det er dejligt, at der er så meget have og udeplads tilhørende lejligheden.

Weniger Ruhe als erwartet …
Es war das von der landschaftlichen Lage das schönste und bestausgestattete Appartment das wir je hatten. ABER: Die 700 Meter Schotterweg zur Anlage sind eigentlich nicht erwähnenswert, das Problem sind die ca. 3 Minuten Asphalt davor. Extrem eng, eine Seite von Gräben und die andere Seite zum Teil von Hausmauern begrenzt. Auf dem Weg gab es fast keine Ausweichmöglichkeiten, man musste die Strecke zurücksetzen, wenn einem jemand entgegenkam. Da überlegt man sich 2x, ob man eben mal Brötchen holt oder abends noch in die Stadt fährt. Für Nachtfahrten auf diesem Weg war uns unser Auto zu schade. Überhaupt ist man für jeden Einkauf oder Restaurantbesuch zu 100% auf das Auto angewiesen. Alles privat und sehr ruhig (keine Partyzone) ist relativ, wenn im Nachbar-Apartment 6 Erwachsene und 3 Kleinkinder wohnen und die Sitzecken im Garten lediglich durch eine noch nicht angewachsene Hecke und ca. 2,5 Meter Abstand zum Nachbartisch getrennt sind. Ruhe findet man da keine mehr. Der Nachbargrill stand übrigens direkt an der Hecke. Der Garten wird im übrigen auch von den Nachbarn rechts, als Durchgang zum Pool und ebenfalls auf der Vorderseite als Ausgang zum Parkplatz benutzt. Die Wege führen auf beiden Seiten direkt zu den großen Fenstertüren. Optimal ist die Anlange für Mehrgenerationentreffen mit Kindern, aber auch sollte man „Reihenhaus-Fan“ sein. Das steigert den Wohlfühlfaktor.

C'était magnifique
Nous avons séjournées dans la location d'Elisabeth au mois de Juillet 21 pour visiter la toscane avec nos deux enfants de 6 et 8 ans. La bâtisse typique toscane est magnifique, a 5mn du centre ville de Lucques qui est une ville très animé (encore plus le soir). La location est très bien équipée, pourvu de moustiquaires aux fenêtres (très utile!). Terrasse, jardin, clim, cuisine équipée, machine a laver. Les enfants ont appréciés la piscine. Prévoir d'emmener des jeux pour occuper les enfants sur place -) La location se trouve a 30mn de Pise, 30mn de la plage et 1h30 de Florence environ. Nous sommes heureux d'avoir pu découvrir cette région, ses bon plats et sa culture:-) un voyage gravé a vie! Laura

Relaxing summer holidays near Lucca
For us, the Mandolo appartment was the ideal stay to explore places in north-western Tuscany and relax "at-home" between the trips. The property of Mandolo is quite, well maintained and situated in the country side 10Mins away from Lucca with nature and some small farming around. Everything was as explained in the description and we liked the nice personal touch of an appartment that is being used by the owners as well.

Tasteful and well equipped apartment
We thoroughly enjoyed our visit to Lucca and felt very comfortable at Mandolo. The apartment is very tastefully furnished and well equipped. Despite being at the end of a narrow track, a good quality restaurant can be reached on foot in 10 to 15 minutes. A supermarket is within easy reach by car. Lucca is a fantastic historic town which has lots to offer but we recommend to also explore the surrounding countryside. There are wonderful views and beautiful villages to be discovered in the mountainous regions within reasonable distance for day trips. We have no hesitation to recommend this apartment to visitors with access to a car. Many thanks for letting us use this lovely property.

Great apartment, quiet location.
Great, fully equipped apartment in lovely, quiet location on the edge of the forest. Nice outdoor facilities and pool. It was great to be waken up by sounds of birds and nothing else. Lucca is approximately 5km away but there is nice walk along the river and we have been using buses as well. Feel in love with Tuscany. Hoping to be back in the future.

Perfect spot close to Lucca
What a wonderful place. We really enjoyed our holiday. The private garden and the big pool. We found out that we could walk to Lucca by the river. Just cross a small bridge and walk on the other side without cars and you will reach the Via Borgo Giannotti and Lucca. Otherwise there is a small village before reaching Lucca. There is a supermarked, restaurants, and more. The apartment was spotless clean and well prepared for us. WE would stay again.

Wonderful place close to Lucca
We will be back! Fantastic location - in the countryside yet very close to Lucca. We loved the private terrace which was very well furnished and the big pool. The house was well prepared - very clean and the bed comfortable. We would book again.
