"The ambience was very nice very quiet very peaceful a chic five star hotel with a fantastic ocean view. money well spent."

" Nicely situated on the sea front with rooms looking out onto the bathing pools below. The hotel has extra parking a few minutes walk away accessible with the room card. The staff were all friendly and helpful and breakfast was very nice with a good selection but seemed to be lacking a toaster. The room was comfortable and well maintained but smaller than we thought and was rather musty on arrival which cleared quickly once the windows were opened. We spent just a few nights here and I’m not sure if there was enough to do beyond that even though we had a car, very limited eating options in the resort but the restaurant at the hotel was very good. The resort lacked any nice little bars to stroll out to in the evening. Overall a nice short stay. "

"Perfect location, delicious and huge variety of foods in every day breakfast. Rooms are clean and comfortable, yes the water drain slow in shower and sink sometimes so be patient"

"It was a nice quite property with an amazing view of the ocean. The hotel has its own shuttle service that can take you to Funchal but also across the street is public bus that is more frequent. Close by is also a swimming area as well as snorkeling equipment rental that you could get to jump in the ocean. The property has nice clean pools, sauna, spa and hammam which we really enjoy. "
