"What a treasure! We were passing through and were so happy we found it. I never sleep 8 hours - but I did there. The staff was welcoming, there is an elevator, the room is huge, beautiful, and comfortable. There is a microwave, fridge, and coffee maker. Oh, that was one negative. The in room coffee was not good, but the coffee purchased in the cafe was gorgeous - so I was happy. The study room next to the cafe was beautiful. "

"I had never stayed in such a unique historical property. The rooms were the largest of any hotel I have had, beds comfortable, clean, staff was friendly, mountains in the back of the property, even the soap smelled wonderful. "

"Amazing view of the harbor, the bridge (all lit up at night), Fort Knox park. Nice walkway that runs along the water. The room was a bit dated but had everything you could need. Microwave, refrigerator, tv, internet access and two chairs by the windows (which open) for us to sit and enjoy the beautiful water and views."

"I liked everything about this place. No hot breakfast but they loaded you up with muffins, snacks, coffee, etc. Probably $20 of carry out food. Staff was terrific. Has laundromat on site. Beds were great, rooms updated nicely. "
