Upon your arrival at 1157 Red Peak Drive, Mammoth Lakes, CA 93546 you'll walk up to and in the front door. Once you enter the front door you'll find the entire property on the ground level.

PLEASE NOTE:
* Properties are prepared for arrival with professionally laundered and sanitized linen, bedding and towels:
- Beds are made with a mattress cover, fitted sheet, a down free comforter in between two flat sheets and pillowcases on the pillows. For the Queen size sofa pull out sleeper; all will be found on its sofa.
- Towels provided for your stay will be found in each full bathroom with a bathmat. The powder room will have a hand and face towel.
* Hand soap, body wash, lotion, toilet tissue, facial tissue, paper towel, trash can liners, dish towel, kitchen sponge, liquid dish soap, dishwasher pods and laundry detergent pods will be found throughout the property
* There is no air conditioning.
* Pets are not allowed.
* Images shown were taken prior to COVID-19 preparation done in June 2020

Amazing time in Mammoth!!
This is a fantastic property, plenty of room for family and privacy with a private garage, everything you need in the kitchen and comfortable beds. We will absolutely stay here again. It’s a 4-8 minute drive to either Eagle or Canyon Lodge and 1 mile to Vons.

My two minor complaints would be to match the quality of the bathroom amenities with the quality of the house, why not have great shampoo and solid bar soap? A few extra dollars in expense. Maybe also improve the mattress on the sleeper couch.

Management then sent us to replacement condo. Lock for the front door didn’t work for that condo either. Management provided the garage door code which got us in. We received a partial refund. The original condo was cleaned early next morning, the front door code reset, and we moved in to our original condo. The rest of our stay went well. Management was polite during this whole episode.

The accommodations were very nice, great location next to golf course and just a couple minutes drive to the village Market - easy hiking trail around backside of golf course. 2bdr / 3bath with firm bedding that was otherwise very comfortable. The place is beautiful, easy accessible parking, plenty of living space in a quiet community. This condo rental has all the necessary accessories. I'd give this rental a 4.8 / 5.Couch had a big stain, but otherwise comfortable and nice. Couldn't figure out how to work TV controls as they worked one day, but not the next day.

The best of a bad situation

On the 3rd day, unfortunately, my husband and I had to be transported to the hospital via paramedics due to COVID. Our 5 adult children ended up packing up the condo and, once I was released from the hospital, we headed home. We still had 2 days left on our reservation. We had to leave my husband in Mammoth Hospital.I contacted the main office and spoke to Caty. She worked with me and set up a credit on our account for 2 more nights whenever we needed it. On New Year's eve I traveled back to Mammoth, awaiting my husband's release from the hospital. I was placed in another beautiful property and able to be safe and comfortable while I waited for word from my husband. He was released late on January 1st, we spent a second night in the condo and were able to leave Mammoth on January 2nd. We were so grateful to the staff at Snowcreek Resort for their generosity in such a difficult time.

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: We love the layout of 1157. It is a single floor plan but very airy and feels like a lot of space. The two rooms are separated so you have privacy and both bedrooms have their own bathroom inside. Comes with a single car garage and full washer and dryer. Being that it is on the ground floor, no stairs to deal with. Do keep in mind there are units above so there could be some noise (we heard some but not overly loud). The kitchen could use some upgraded pots and pans but very useable.

I strongly suggest bringing additional soap and shampoo and dish towels as these items are usually not enough for even two days. Snow Creek is the perfect location for all things Mammoth YEAR ROUND.

The rental process and check in was great. The unit is spacious. The master bed mattress was hard & form and uncomfortable in my opinion. Also the mattress cover for the pull out couch was definitely dirty. I washed it before putting it back on the bed for my daughter to use.

President's Day Ski Trip to Mammoth
Spent 3 nights at 1157 Red Peak in Snowcreek Resort and had a great time. The property was very nice and extremely spacious for our family of 4. The location is fantastic with easy access to all the right places. No more than 10 minutes from garage to Main Lodge / The Mill. Resort offers has hot tub / spa and fittness center which are all close to the property. This unit is very nice, clean and comfortable. Only thing that keeps this from being a 5 star are the little things like the BBQ grill that is is very poor condition and some other kitchen accessories like an operational can opener. Overall this is a great porperty with highend touches. We would definitely come back again. Thank you!

Asked for a review 1 min after booking - so here goes
Since VRBO asks for a review 1 min after I booked it more than a week before I actually stay there, here is my pre-review: PROS: - Bedroom photos look like bedroom photos - Map images look very "mappy" - Ceiling fan photo - 5 blade fan? Oh yea, now I am excited! - Carpet and furniture photos? verified - Regulation 6-7 unrelated remotes on a table? Check - Kitchen Photos - verified that does look like a kitchen - Mammoth mountain regulation deer photos on wall? Check - Protection against kahala bear attack? High. Unit appears to have no Bamboo or Eucalyptus trees. I will sleep soundly knowing I am safe! - Protection against Trump feared Islamic extremest attack? Low. Unit does not appear to be equipped for Trump feared Islamic extremest attacks, however Trump feared Islamic extremists tend not to be skiers so there is some comfort in that. Suggestions: VRBO maybe wait until someone actually says there before asking for a review, Its a bit like asking for a restaurant tip after making a dinner reservation.
